In 2012 they began their procurement process for new HR and Payroll to replacement their current system.

Why did Towry decide to implement HR software?
We have been using an outdated version of another system for several years and it was no longer supported by the provider. We could have upgraded with that provider’s latest version, but Cascade is a better system so we chose that instead.
How did you evaluate the various software options?
I attended a software show in 2012 and visited as many stands as I could in one day, getting a heads up demo of each system. That helped us to eliminate a number of systems rather than choose the best ones. We then sent an invitation to tender to a long list of potential providers and from the responses we created a shortlist of 6 who came to meet us and give us a full demo.
Why did you choose Cascade?
It looks dynamic and modern, unlike some ‘older’ systems; it is easy to negotiate intuitively; it does everything that we want a system to do, with certain functionality that will wipe out hours of manual work; and it is good value for money.
